I've been into photography for as long as I can remember. My Dad had a Minolta rangefinder that he would let me shoot with when I was 8. As a 16 year old I remember saving up to buy my first camera - it was a Ricoh KR10-Super in 1983.
Then in 2005, I made the jump to digital with the Canon EOS-20D. Then the deep dive into Photoshop and Lightroom happened.  These days, I cannot imagine a workflow that doesnt encompass shooting in RAW, processing in Lightroom and maybe doing some retouching in Photoshop.
I love shooting portraits, particularly where my subject is in their own space. It lets me tell their story through a single image. I embrace the challenge of shooting events where it's my job to figure out how best to communicate what it feels like to be there, and it's all happening and I have no control over it.
